Friday 10-2, World-building Through the Tarot

Friday 3-7, Crafty Villainous

Back by POPULAR demand, it's everyone's favorite Friday afternoon sit-and-stitch! Because a lot of us like crafting AND board games. Or maybe we're just Hardcore Disney. Bring a SMALL knitting, crochet, or other needlework project and have LOADS OF TIME between turns as we play an ENORMOUS game of Disney Villainous, by Ravensburger!! Rules will be taught for those who haven't played before. (Please, please, please be aware that the point of THIS particular event is that there will be a load of time between turns. It's not about winning the game, it's about the friends we make along the way. And special giftbags from me to you, because I'm not joking about the popular demand.)

Saturday 10-2, Dyeing Two Be Different: Early 90s Pop

Back for a third year in an ALL NEW yarn dyeing adventure. In this new class redesigned for 2024, each participant will dye TWO very different skeins of yarn, with the same colors! Take a trip back into the early 90s with bright pops of fuchsia pink and cyan blue. We'll be working on a fingering-weight blend of bamboo and wool, AS WELL AS a chunky, fluffy blend of Highland wool and Alpaca. This is the FIRST of TWO classes in 2024, make sure you look for Dyeing Two Be Different, Late 90s Grunge. (Please be aware, that while the instructor has taken every reasonable measure to protect work surfaces and hands from staining, it is recommended that participants wear dark and/or cotton clothing, as the dyes we are using will NOT dye cotton.)

Saturday 2-6, Dyeing Two Be Different: Late 90s Grunge

Back for a third year in an ALL NEW yarn dyeing adventure. In this new class redesigned for 2024, each participant will dye TWO very different skeins of yarn, with the same colors! Take a trip back into the late 90s with muted tones of grungy purple and blue. We'll be working on a DK-weight blend of wool and cotton, AS WELL AS a black and gray zebra-spun, worsted-weight Peruvian Highland wool. This is the SECOND of TWO classes in 2024, make sure you look for Dyeing Two Be Different, Early 90's Pop. (Please be aware, that while the instructor has taken every reasonable measure to protect work surfaces and hands from staining, it is recommended that participants wear dark and/or cotton clothing, as the dyes we are using will NOT dye cotton.)
