    Cornfields of Avalon, a supernatural thriller

    Cynical elder millenial Jolene Williams has accepted her foster brother's invitation to move to a small village in the deep wilderness of southern Indiana. Once there, she learns that more than half the population is dead, and the mysterious job offer she has accepted is to be their spiritual medium and help guide them onward. When mysterious events start plaguing the living residents of the town, Jolene and her brother are swept up in the dire consequences of all the dark secrets that dead souls carry to their graves. Tl;dr: Supernatural thriller that doesn't focus on vampires and/or werewolves.
